Meals on Wheels of Summerville is thrilled to announce our Next Chapter: after 43 truly blessed years of serving our community, we are moving into... the Little Blue House!
We are deeply grateful to St. Paul’s Anglican Church for generously housing our offices and kitchen for over four decades. Their unwavering support made our growth possible, and we carry that spirit of community with us as we begin this exciting new chapter.
But before we can open the doors, there’s important work ahead! This move opens the door to new possibilities—allowing us to reach more neighbors and serve with even greater care. This new space also presents a meaningful opportunity to expand our impact and operate more efficiently. Plans include a custom-built commercial kitchen, dedicated office space for staff, and a welcoming area for the volunteers who are essential to our daily operations and keeping the wheels rolling.
Thanks to Bethany's UMC Little Light On A Hill Foundation and a few faithful annual donors, we have secured $55,000 in matching funds—and now we are turning to our community to help us meet that match!
